Be prepared to walk a lot if you are not talking the tram.
My phone estimated we walked around 15km..
Good morning exercise, take a good breakfast before you start on the long walk.
Wear good walking shoes.
Recommended you to go around sunrise or sunset because I did saw some fantastic photos by other bloggers.
Enjoy the fresh air and nice scenery.

Still hazy

There is a steep and a gentle path.
We only saw the direction for the gentle path after we finish the steep path!!!

Singapore Eats : ARbite

Meetup with some ex students for brunch or maybe lunch..
was not very crowded at lunch.
I ordered the chicken, which was tender and juicy.
My student's breakfast serving seems quite big and they did enjoy their breakfast. It was quite worth it too, at around $15.
The dessert which was mango meringue was just normal..

The interiors is simple and comfortable.
Good place for a good chat with friends

Address: 66A Serangoon Garden way
Is located at the row of shophouse where HSBC is located.
Opposite the bus stop.
The restuarant is located at the second floor so look out for the small door which lead you to the restaurant.

Korea free and easy : Busan food

Tried out Korea KFC.
However, only ordered some snacks.
Calamari and tapioca chips and hot chocolate.

Jagalchi Fish Market
The seafood is quite cheap.. Each Abalone is 4000 won, Live Octopus 10000 won.
just choose a stall and buy fresh seafood, they will bring you to an eatery upstairs where the seafood will be processed and cooked.
Total bill including other seafood, and side dishes and cooking is 42 000 won.
You can choose between eating sashimi, steamed or other cooking method. This is one of my sister's favorite meal in Korea. Fresh seafood and fabulous side dishes.

Sweet Potatoes snack!!
We swa this stall when we exit centum city station.

Shinsegae Food court.. English Menu available.
Food is around 8000-10000 won for the sets we ordered

If eating at a food court does not fill you up, there are a lot of snacks and delicious food selling beside the foodcourt.

Food at Shinsegae Shopping Mall

Ops Bakery

Sell delicious bread and samples to try for some of the item.
buy it as a snack while exploring busan or eat it for breakfast.

Halmae Wonjo Gamasot Gukbap (Granny Kim Hee-dae’s Original Cauldron Gukbap)
We did tried to try that while we were in Haeundae. However, they say they do not use pork but use beef.
I can't consume beef hence we just walked in and out of the shop.
Quite embarrassing

Busan famous street snack at Biff Square
There are a few stalls.
This ssiat hotteok (씨앗호떡), or "seed hotteok, Fried pancakes stuffed with pine seeds.

korea : busan free and easu Funstay Inn Guest House (Accomodation)

The charges of this hotel room is not expensive.
Therefore, our expectations are not too high too.
The reception and common area looks very good as it is adorned by painting, beautiful furniture and soft toys.
Take note that there are no lifts, you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs to the receptionist and to your hotel room.
I did not have the chance to try out the breakfast which is inclusive as I had only two morning in Busan and I set off early in order to cover more places.
The owner knows a bit of English.
The location I think is quite good as it is located near to train station, walking distance to a shopping district (NAmpo-dong), biff square, Jagalchi Fish market, Busan tower and Lotte department.
However, is definitely not recommended if you are a beach babe as it is located quite far from the beach.
although, they state that exit 1 of the subway is the best. at exit 1. The best way to get there is walk further down to the next exit after exit 1. There is a small exit in between the shops.
Climb up the flight and steps and Funstay inn guesthouse is just located beside the exit.
think is exit 111. once you exit, you will see a pet store.

First Impression

Exterior. It is quite easy to spot.

The room.
After looking at the reception area, I was hoping that the room will be as impressive looking.
The bed are just located side by side. There is little or no ventilation.
There is a locker to keep your valuables safely..
The toilet is clean..

A pot of flowers stand at the door and is opposite the information counter.

Paris free and easy: Printemps and a little shop

Printemps, located near Havre-Caumartin. We went up to the roof top to enjoy the view.
The shopping there is also good with major brands.
Nearby is a little shop which sells some longchamp and some of the brands at a slightly cheaper price.
Can do a price comparison and Printemps and walk over to the little shop.
But there will be no fanciful bags. Safer as some people might say.
The tax refund seems to be slightly better too.

The little shop.
just cross the road from printemps. Around 3-5 minutes walk away.
